"Dream Big and Dare to Fail"

"Why not go out on a limb, that is where the fruit is."

"Make each day your masterpiece."

"Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail."

"Don't count the days, make the days count."

"There are no short cuts to any place worth going."

I love these quotes and what they stand for. Life is a big risk. It is hard. It is a struggle and around every corner is something in your way, keeping you from success, happiness, and peace. You cannot live a passive life and expect to get what you want and have happiness. This life takes a lot of fight. Everything takes work and takes a fight. Happiness is not easy to obtain. You have to fight for that. Love, is probably the biggest fight and most effort you are ever going to put into something. Why do people do that? because it is absolutely worth it. Every last second and every bit of energy is worth it. The feeling of loving someone is amazing, but the feeling of being loved by someone is even more amazing than that. But it takes work.

The accomplishments and happiness in life that will be enjoyed all depends on the risk and effort put forth in life. The ability to keep working and keep fighting through adversity. Even when the world says no, you do not listen. You keep going, you keep striving for your goal and what makes you happy and brings you to life.

We all need to pursue something. We all need to fight for something. We need something in out lives that we get absolutely excited about and that brings us to life every morning. Something that we can pursue with every ounce of effort in us. You have to be able to accept losing a few battles on the way though. You have to be able to get past failure, and people telling you that its not going to happen or that you cannot do, because you can. Each and every time you fail at something, you are getting that much closer to success. you are getting better than all of those people that are standing around telling you not to and how you will not be able to do.

I love setting goals. I love discipline and setting a goal for myself or a change in my life that I want to make and then being able to do it. I love setting goals and doing things that I do not know the outcome to. Things that I could possibly fail at. As i have gotten older, I have found that assurances is boring. I do not want to know. I want to go into something and not know the outcome until it comes. There is no fun or growth in doing something that you know will be easy or that you know you will succeed at. That is where faith comes in. Having trust in the Lord. If that thing or person was meant to be, then it will work out. If not, then now you know that was not meant to be.

Growing up I have always thought that courage was not being afraid of anything. That is not courage though. People have fears, no matter who you are. We are all afraid of something different, but we all have fears. What makes a person courageous is working past their fears, no matter what they are. It is the fight and the ability to get past your fears that shows true courage. Doing something when you know that the odds are against you. Doing something that you do not want to do. Doing something that you know you will fail at. That shows true courage. Doing something you absolutely do not want to do, but doing it anyways because it is the right thing and because it will help someone else.

Life is a fight. Every aspect of it. When it comes down to it, your motivation and drive has to come from within. There are going to be a lot of times when people tell you that you cannot do something or discourage you and you are going to have to dig from within to motivate and push yourself. There are times in life when all you have is yourself, so learn to love yourself and become comfortable with who you are and where you are going.

Do all you can, when all you can is do.

Getting the most out of my time down here in SoCal. Although I am not a huge fan of this particular area of California, there are a lot of dope things to see and do. I won't be young forever, so it's time to be youthful and take advantage of my age before it takes advantage of me. Haha
